- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, healthcare professionals, and administrative staff concerning surgical scheduling issues. Communicate regularly with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure that all parties are prepared for each surgery.
- Resource Management: Oversee the efficient use of operating rooms and surgical resources. This includes coordinating the cleaning and maintenance of operating rooms, managing the use of surgical equipment, and coordinating with ancillary departments as needed.
